Project Management Stadler Class 68 Heavy Maintenance Programme
Working through Prima Uno, we provided project management support to Nuclear Transport Solutions in initiating the £5 million heavy maintenance overhaul programme for the Stadler Class 68 locomotive fleet, a critical asset base supporting the UK’s nuclear transport and specialist freight operations.
Through a collaborative and structured project management approach, we established programme governance, defined scope and delivery strategy, and developed integrated schedules to manage complex interfaces between the operator, OEM, maintainers and supply chain. Our focus was on setting robust controls, managing safety‑critical risk, and sequencing overhaul activities to maintain fleet availability while enabling intrusive engineering interventions.
